The different festivals of the three temples viz. Arulmigu Nithyakalyani Ambal sametha Sree Vilvavananatha Swamy, Sree Kothandaramar temple and Arulmigu Thalaimalai Ayyan Kovil, were being celebrated every year in the past under the auspices of a couple of trusts managed by a handful of respectable gentlemen from Kadayam within their own limitations. In order to sustain the religious fervor (which slowly waned some years ago), Sri S. Raman, then serving Head Master of the Chatram Bharathi Senior Secondary School, Kadayam took initiative and started conducting the festivals in a fitting manner. He also organized the renovation, development and also the Kumbhabhishekam of both Sree Nithyakalyani Amman temple and the Sree Thalaimalai Ayyan temples. These functions were occasions that are much spoken of. Kudos to Sri S. Raman who has since retired from his school services, and still looking after the activities of the Sabha and organizing all the festivals at Kadayam.

With a view to broadbase the celebrations, elders of Kadayam met a few times in Chennai and took various important decisions. The main decision was to create a broadbased committee for the purpose, which is named Kadayam Bhaktha Jana Sabha The Sabha was registered as a Private Charitable Trust in Chennai on 22nd March 2011. 40 members from different families belonging to Kadayam were nominated as committee members, in those meetings. Out of these 40 members, nine members were nominated to constitute a Board of Trustees, which will be the main body for such religious activities and other allied activities to enhance hindu dharmic values.

Committees are a way to draw together people of relevant expertise from different parts of the world who otherwise would not have a good way to share information and coordinate actions. They may have the advantage of widening viewpoints and sharing out responsibilities. Our Committee Members. are here to guide us and help us organize events and co-ordinate activities related to the Nithya Kalyami Ambal Kovil, Thalaimalai Ayyan Temple & Sri Kothanda Ramar Temple. Sri S. Raman continues to be the main Organising Secretary stationed at Kadayam. The contact details of the board of trustees are available at Contact us.

It is our endeavour to enroll every Brahmin member of each and every family having origin at Kadayam, as a Life Member of the Kadayam Bhaktha Jana Sabha, the subscription for which is fixed at Rs.2,500/- plus Rs.100/- as enrolment amount. Already about 60 have become life members. It is our earnest desire that all Kadayamite Brahmins would soon become life members by paying the prescribed amounts. The interest derived from such a Corpus would be utilized for the activities of the Sabha. The cheque for Rs 2,600/- in favour of "Kadayam Bhaktha Jana Sabha" can be sent to the followinng address.
